I carry an Ego 16” saw.
This is what I carry also. With my 12 amp hour battery I've never run out of juice before the project I was working on ended. I have Ego everything (lawn mower, blower, whipper snip, etc) so it made sense to buy their chainsaw.

Well that explains goat, what is project farm? I'm surprised I've never heard this before, Ive been around the block quite a few times.
Just make sure to click on the gear in the upper right corner of the video and change playback speed to about .75. This way his voice will be at a normal pitch and speed. He talks like an auctioneer on crack.

Just talking about the Project Farm guy on Youtube
I have good days and bad, today was one of of those forgetful days. I couldn't remember to wind my ass or scratch my watch.

I have the GreenWorks 40-volt 12", but just got it a few weeks ago ($99 on sale on Amazon). Have yet to try it. If I run into something big, I'll cut and tug with the winch to clear the path.

Don't forget to bring along bar oil for these battery powered saws. Keep that in mind when storing it after usage, the can/will be some bar oil leakage.

Semi-off topic, but relevant to many of us - Project Farm has a nice test and review of recovery ropes also:

The cat’s meow of electric chainsaws is the Stihl. I have dropped and bucked up several fir trees were up to 16in diameter. Expensive but if you are investing in a battery power yard tools for a lifetime of use… Stihl is hard to beat.

@Flip Project Farm is the place to go for all kinds of head to head reviews for tools for guys. He performs lots of tests and posts both quanitative and qualitative results.

I have a gas Stihl for any big stuff. It never ever fails to perform. For Battery, I prefer the dewalt. I have multiple of their sizes. For offroad I take the 12" dewalt. I have one bigger battery Milwaukee that I absolutely hate. Boxy, unwieldy and heavy
