You just reminded me. I did see that "start/stop not ready" warning pop up a couple times. I plan to take mine to a dealership to have them check everything out for a meager $190the error message at the start of this thread is for the 12V main battery, not the eTorque battery.
The eTorque battery is covered under the 8 year emissions battery. I don't know what the 12v is covered by, and even if it is I am sure it is pro-rated coverage.
I just replaced my 12V main battery as an accessory I installed introduced a parasitic drain. Even though I removed the accessory the battery never got back to 100%. Yup, it would start the Jeep, but the message "Start/Stop not ready, battery charging" was very frequent.
Are you seeing warning messages related to the battery?
