I tried looking up what the standard factory FCA warranty coverage is for the 2.0 Turbo e-Torque system and 48V battery. I did not find that info online. Anyone know what coverage is?

Also is the e-Torque and 48V battery covered under the Lifetime MaxCare? I called a dealer and they said high voltage batteries are excluded. They also seem to feel e-torque components might not be covered? I have no idea how valid this is?

I just found warranty info on the Belt Driven Hybrid Starter Generator, 48V battery or power pack, PCM, Cat. Looks like they are covered under a 8 year/80K mile federal emissions warranty from the factory. Good to know since the 48V battery is reported to cost $1535.

So much fun.
I just have to get over the fact that I just put some North Idaho pin stripes on it....oh well it's a Jeep.

In eight years it should cost a couple hundred at best, if that.

THAT is truly great news . . . and if I am fortunate enough to last another 8 years, I too will be fortunate, minus the "fortune," as by then, the medical-insurance bills (TriWest) will of bankrupt me for sure . . . :( . . . . . . :whatsgoingon:
