JKs had a similar issue with squeaking seat. Dealer put some special grease on some of the spots and no more squeak, after 5 years. So they'll get this worked out.
Not all dealers are bad. Where I bought my JK in Ankeny Iowa the service manager invited every new Wrangler owner in to a session where different mechanics talked about certain things to do, not do, watch out for. They served pizza and cookies plus gave away some freebies.
My dealer in Lincoln has been good at researching issues, keeping me informed. Only real problem I've had since it was new is this fall it started overheating. The engine code indicated a cooling fan issue. They have 15 items that it could be and have to run diagnostics which cost $99. The problem was a worn out radiator cap (7 years old). Additional $80 to fix.
I've had other new vehicles that have had problems including one that Chevy lemoned. So it isn't a Jeep thing. Any individual vehicle can have problems, no reason to denigrate an entire brand.
