I'm getting ready to go on thousand mile trip this week and looking over the jeep. When rotating the steering wheel from 10 to 1 back and forth, I can feel a click on the drag link joint at the pitman arm. When looking close, I can see it pop an extremely small amount as well. These are the OEM mopar ones that came with the Jeep. The jeep has 36k miles on it. I don't have death wobble. Steering is what it's always been.
I'm wondering how urgent it is to take care of this thing. I feel like if it was something significant I would get death wobble with the jeep. With it being just extremely slight clicks, I'm thinking it would be OK for the trip and take care of it when I get back.
Any thoughts on this? Should I take a day off to replace it or can it wait until I get back?
