Thanks Julie. I was able to fix this myself, but was able to get the dealer to fix the cruise control recall.

Just as an update I fixed this by taking a long screw driver, putting it through the door stop bolt hole and leveraging against the door which I padded with a small towel. It came right out without much force. Thanks everyone for the help

Exactly what I did. Worked like a charm.

I learned this the first time I removed my doors also. I am sure someone will invent a tool to pull the stop back out of the doors easily.
