Anyone taken their door hinges off on the JL? Back in 08, I did it with my JK because they were getting chewed up. It was pretty straightforward and didn't take much to get them off after bolt removal. Then I sand blasted and used bedliner to coat them.
Just wondering if anyone has had theirs off on the JL? I remember there was no paint under them and just some weird adhesive or coating and that was it. Hinges were bullet proof after bedlining and stayed that way until I sold her 5 years later.
Edit: Found the old thread where I did it. Pictures are long gone but there is some from others in the thread.
