Definitely plenty of availability aftermarket and not a hard install either.

Found this one on Amazon. $17.
Yeah cause that looks as good as the one from the factory !!! Lol
I wouldn’t mind it in a 1982 Jeep, but couldn’t buy a 35K-50K Jeep then cheap out on the reverse sensors...

You can get more expensive ones. I just linked those because they popped up first on Amazon. My Dad has something very similar (really cheap ones) on his 2006 Forester. 12 years and not a single problem. Put them in the fender, you can hardly see them. Just trying to be helpful.

I bet my buddy wish he had it on his JKUR, right after he backed it into his new car, caving in the drivers door and front fender.
Ouch

Today I learned that one of Parksense's features can be over come.

I upgraded to 37" tires and was doing the chalk test to figure out my best pressure. I noticed that if I had the door open then put the vehicle in park, the auto park feature of parksense would kick in. Took me a bit but I figured out that if I start with the door closed then open the door the vehicle will keep going. This was in 2H. I also believe this gets turned off in 4WD.

Have it and like it. It’s very helpful in a busy parking lot.

I do not have it. My wifes Challenger has it and we joke that her car it pissed off.
We would meet for dinner after work, and I would be sitting in my Ford Edge at the time, and when she backed up, I could hear her sensor warning beeps in MY vehicle it was so loud. Meanwhile my Edge had a less alarming warning sound.

So I skipped it in the Jeep since I am fine with Camera/Mirror combo. Besides my wifes Challegner is way too sensative, it goes off the for the cars on either side when backing in, even though she's not in any fear of getting close to them, and the parking blocks set it off like a demon screaming.

Nope, just me, 'cuz I have enough sense to park. Seriously, I hate all these Driver assist gizmos that take away from actual driving skill. Scares the crap out of me thinking how much people are leaning on tech to get through life. Ok, I'm getting off the soapbox now...

I agree its spot-on when backing out of a parking space and a vehicle comes from either direction at a fast speed that when you initially looked wasn't there, also I park in a parking garage at work with big concrete posts (that don't give) so having that warning is great on those days you are not focused on the situation at-hand,
find it very useful on a everyday basis worth the cost IMHO
