You can get more expensive ones. I just linked those because they popped up first on Amazon. My Dad has something very similar (really cheap ones) on his 2006 Forester. 12 years and not a single problem. Put them in the fender, you can hardly see them. I wouldn’t mind it in a 1982 Jeep, but couldn’t buy a 35K-50K Jeep then cheap out on the reverse sensors...
No need for blind spot assist or cross traffic detection, but 4 floods next to your headlights was a must.I didn't see a "Hell no" box!
I agree its spot-on when backing out of a parking space and a vehicle comes from either direction at a fast speed that when you initially looked wasn't there, also I park in a parking garage at work with big concrete posts (that don't give) so having that warning is great on those days you are not focused on the situation at-hand,Have it and like it. It’s very helpful in a busy parking lot.
