Does anyone know what size socket I need to remove front bumper?

I need to buy a long socket to remove the front bumper. I have a 17 mm socket that kinda fits but not really.

Can anyone please confirm the right size?

I’d suggest buying a whole kit of long sockets. Doesn’t hurt to have them, and I don’t remember exactly what sizes are used, but I know it was several.

Also suggest buying an electric ratchet. Those bolts are sorta tight and plentiful.

The installation instructions that came with the Mopar bumper gets an “A” for drawing 2 pretty sockets, but an “F” for failing to indicate what size they are.

I used metric on them and it worked fine. Don’t know whether they actually are though.

When I needed some deep 1/2 drive sockets I went to harbor freight and got their impact socket set. Its $25 and has plenty of sizes. Works great for occasional garage use.

Thanks, guys. Yes it is 18 mm for the bumper, and 16 mm for the air dam bracket.
