DIY Roll Cage Rifle Rack

I got a new welder and needed a project to test it, so I just made me this rifle rack.
I thought about solutions to have the rifle somewhere close to the drivers seat, but my hunting rifles with silencer are too long for that. So this is what I came up with.
Parts from the scrap bin, 6 hours total work.
Maybe I can inspire one of you.

Nice build. I mainly hunt Wildlife Management Areas (WMA's) and unfortunately they require firearms to be cased. I'll have to check and see if a gun sock would qualify as being cased.

That looks amazing. Great job. I bet you could market this. Especially for states that allow you to run around with one. The only other thing on it that would be a nice addition is if there was a way to lock it in so anyone cant break in to nab it while you're away from the vehicle.

Thank you, Byrds8! The lock is a good idea, but here in Germany I can not leave a gun in the Jeep unattended, so I personally don't need it.
