Yes it'll depend on what lift. Spend a little time searching the forums for threads about lift kits. Lots of suggestions on here. The favorite seems to be Metalcloak.@SadRobot what’s a ball park estimate for replacing the lift? I guess it depends on what they replace it with?
Austin. Was going to recommend checking with a local jeep club and see if they could help out. Don't know of any down there though.@TXSquid78 Im in the San Antonio area. You?
Thanks! I might inquire next time I see a moded Jeep or caravan. I see them quite often.Austin. Was going to recommend checking with a local jeep club and see if they could help out. Don't know of any down there though.
I too am in the San Antonio area, if you don’t mind me asking which dealer? I have been without a jeep for a good minute, but a lot of people swear by exodus 4x4 in new Braunfels, and at one time bikini off road. Also in new braunfels, the big group here is NB trail team 6. Lots of knowledgeable folks in that group. Thanks! I might inquire next time I see a moded Jeep or caravan. I see them quite often.
Absolutely, jeepers stick together. I am a bit shocked the links failed that way. I hope it gets rectified soon@cowboytk I got my Jeep from the Hill County Honda dealership off 1604 back in ‘22. I have heard of Bikini Off Road, and I will look into Exodus. Thanks for the heads up on NB Trail Team 6!![]()
Not to my knowledge, there aren’t any signs of that and it wasn’t reported as one. It also doesn’t help that I put hella miles on it and drove across country and back without ever hosing down the undercarriage, like, ever. Especially through snowy, icy roads with salt and brine. Someone on here kindly suggested what I can use to hose it down to remedy that though.you sure that thing was not a flood vehicle?
Yeah Tina, a few months ago I drove from SW FL to NM and AZ for a few weeks and did a lot of off-roading. I’ve cleaned the heck out of my Jeep, yet my undercarriage still looks like yoursNot to my knowledge, there aren’t any signs of that and it wasn’t reported as one.
