Digging the Jeep life...

Finally took one of those Jeep drives. You know, no real destination. Folks, the last time I was really in a Jeep was an old CJ with a V8 swap. And that thing, I wish I had a kidney belt, it was that brutal. This JL, just a great all around ride. No road noise from the Goodyear Kevlar's. No issues what so ever with the JL itself. The wife and I had a nice day out with her new Jeep. And got to stop here and there, just to further enjoy the day. I am digging this Jeep life stuff.

Yes they are night and day vehicles. I had a 79 CJ-7 in high school so being young was not to bad.

Nice. We drove this while ours was at the dealer getting paintwork done under warranty. Tires did fine fully aired up. But did get scuffed on the sidewalls. Tread was super smooth on the highway. Not really designed for anything but light off highway like this. These are not kevlar ones though.

Thought would add to the yellow. Haha!

The JL we looked at just before buying our Hella Yella was a high velocity model. It is seriously a color that stands out. And the models with the black hard top compared to the ones with the yellow hard top just look way more appealing. That looks like a nice day/ride out...

Will find out this weekend (weather permitting). Worst comes to worst, we'll at least open the soft top all up to enjoy nature. That jeep you got... Lot of travel, I bet that thing is a blast...

Yes indeed. Picked up a gently used Best Top this week for a great deal (thing looks new). Rolling jack is here for the hard top removal and storage. Just gotta do the swap and get this thing all gussied up for the season.
