Different Sub locations Alpine vs stock

I have the Alpine sub located in the side of our JLU cargo area. I have seen pictures of a sub in the back cargo area floor. Is this the same location as the storage tub I have in the back or is there possibly an option to create another storage cubby?

I believe the 2 door Jeeps have the sub in this location...but you can definitely use that storage area for a sub...

Ahh thanks! Did not factor in the two door being different. I have the factory alpine sub, I am looking for more storage.

@thecritter; if you want more storage you could always go for MOLLE racks and bags. A lot of people like this solution. Or maybe adding a rollbar shelf would suit your needs?

Looking at the tuffy tailgate storage box anyone have any experience?

Tuffy makes good products and is easy to talk to on the phone. In Arizona I think..

I am going to have to modify mine hopefully can raise it up 1/2 inch it will not close of you have the Mopar bed mat it is too thick and hits the storage box. The box seems to be strong enough to do it's job.

I bet if you know how to make fiberglass enclosure you could mold it t9 fit the space.
