Diabolical Slipstream alternate locking method, any ideas?

Been brainstorming some alternate lock down method for my slipstream, not a huge fan of the pins that are used, was thinking like some quick release ball locks like this.

or maybe even something as simple as bungee tie down on the back access, that one is held down by the tailgate when locked anyway, figure maybe someone has already come up with some ingenious method. t's my only complaint (and overall its a very minor one) but now that I have this installed I am realizing how much I open that back panel. Any and all input greatly appreciated.

Maybe some rubber plugs? I wasn't bothered by the clips, but I also ran around without them from time to time. There was only a rattle on large bumps. Otherwise they weren't necessary.
