Do you think you'll be able you shut the BSG off? I hate the feeling of the jutter when the car starts and stops.
I believe you're thinking of ESS which both engines have and which can be turned off with a button, although it defaults back on each time the vehicle is started.

BSG is the mild-hybrid subsystem on the 4-cyl that boosts torque at low rpms and helps mileage a bit.

Heard the only draw back is at high speed like High way at 60-70 miles hour
I read you may be able to tune it to get more horse power

The owners manual states you can use 87 with the 2.0t, so you’re not exactly being ‘held hostage’
True...but if you want the best fuel efficency you need to run premium fuel...otherwise you will be disappointed if you are buying the 2.0 for fuel mileage reasons.

I bought it for the quickness and more power so personally not worried about Gas mileage

Yep...I personally like Turbos...they are so quick. I had one in a BMW 2 series and that thing was crazy fast. Buying them for fuel savings is a bad bet...if you take advantage of the performance increase...your fuel mileage is likely to be worse that naturally aspirated engine.
