I would just drive it. There are so many cars running around without plates or expired plates it is ridiculous. I am convinced that they have decided that this is not an offense that warrants getting pulled over ever since COVID.

Eh, I know first hand, here in GA, they are still ticketing for no registration.

I agree. The cost of a ticket if one were issued would be far outweighed by the enjoyment of the Jeep. In California you have 6 months to register a vehicle you buy -- I didn't know that until the other day -- but because of covid they extended that time even longer. Wish I had a source on this info, but right now it's my memory.

Vroom is terrible seen people having problems with them. I bought puts awhile back and they have paid. Company should shut down.

No way I'd have all that capital tied up and not be using it. Roll the dice , seek reimbursement for tickets through vroom if you get them.

Just drive it. You may be able to go get another 60 day temp tag due to the issues you are having. That Jeep prob came from out of state or has some kind of other similar paperwork issue. What does Carfax say about it?

How can a auto dealer ship be so bad at paperwork? I mean that is a key part of their business.

I am working to sell my step-mom's car after she passed away and I haven't even bothered with Vroom or Carvana as I don't trust em to complete the paperwork

Do you have a loan? The bank might be interested in how all of this is playing out. They may have pricier lawyers than you are willing to get as well.

That would never fly. Vroom provided a rental. Me driving an unregistered vehicle that is not yet mine, is my choice and action. And all it takes is one cop, or one dingaling to be on their phone and cause a wreck or one deer to jump out. Not worth it, at all.

They are no longer issuing temp tag extensions because the state of TX is suing them and have received thousands in fines from other states. So other states where they have offices are not issuing either.

I do have a note, and they have reached out to Vroom with the same luck as me... crickets

At that point I would assume the bank would want to sue. They don't have collateral for their loan until they have the title. I would work this through the bank.
