  1. Casey 250 drops his Diesel

You seen a difference because the Tolyltriazole coats the sensors and the block reducing thermal conductivity. Water wetter is nothing more then the same additives already in antifreeze with alcohol mixed in at 80% of the content. Unless you think the MSDS is not correct and thereā€™s some magic...

Yā€™all thinking of using water wetter.. have you looked up the msds sheet. Is 80% alcohol 20% snake oil. Itā€™s has some aluminum corrosion inhibitors one coats the surface. 5. Towing with 3.0 Diesel

Did he list what oil and how many miles he had on his oil? Older contaminated oil will not transfer the heat as effectively as newer fresh oil. Could the engine have been going through a regen? Does he have any engine modifications like a derringer? Did he upgrade his cooling capacity itā€™s...

  7. Oil Analysis Thread - 3.0 EcoDiesel

Yā€™all are nuts waiting that long between oil changes. Donā€™t care what the manufacturer specs, donā€™t care if the oil still shows to have a good number of additives left. The problem with extended oil changes is the filter bypassing letting the metal flow through the engine. Copper is the second...

  12. Searching for others who had clutch burnt-out after recall

Sad, wonder if the lack of pressure plate diagram spring tension is the culprit.(that would cause the throwout bearing to not fully retract lessening the holding pressure of the clutch.) Probably not a property heat treat/ material. FCA will most likely never make the clutch right. Anybody...

  16. 2020 JLURD dead in driveway after batteries dying

Zapping the battery in 5 minutes after a full recharge while running. Iā€™d be looking at the alternator. Something is putting a huge load on the battery to drain it that quickly. Iā€™d start with testing the alternator itā€™s clearly not charging.
  17. 2.0L 4cyl engine reliability issues?
