I really have to give it to FCA for designing such a great Wrangler!!!! Despite the dealership's best attempts to sabotage this and other FCA products, it remains in high demand and people love it. Just imagine if the dealerships were only slightly less incompetent????
Wonder what it would look like if every jeep driver posted here every time the dealership DIDNT fuck up.

"Went in for an oil change today. They changed the oil. I drove home."

"Had a dead battery in warranty. Dealership replaced it."

"Went for tire rotation. They rotated my tires."

I taught high school for 36 years. That's 36 years of dealing with 180 of other peoples teenagers every day...yeah, just like you were when you all were in high school. There were some losers and jerks in every class. Know what I never said to anyone? "Kids are losers and jerks."

I have to ask. Is that your actual plate? If so that’s pretty hardcore. Awesome!
No it is just a virtual fantasy

Your points are valid but most people wouldn't notice they got fucked by the dealer. Who really checks to see if they got 0.5L more oil or if they got 5W20 instead of 0W20? We only notice the gross negligence aspects like damaged fenders or scratched paint, etc. Are these the norm or the exception? who knows? Since I've had similar experiences with several different automakers and their dealerships in various zip codes, I have the impression that being sloppy is just part of business for these people. Everything is of course amplified now due to COVID.

I have never had a dealership visit that did not go horribly wrong. Sometimes, the kids are just losers and jerks.

My Tahoe has to go back Friday. Every single dealership visit has been a return trip for 5 years do stupid shit. This time reset oil level and tire pressure system cause I had my summer to winter rims/tires switched out. One time tools left on passenger floor that I didn’t notice. It’s literally always something. The best went in for oil change and inspection. I get home. They didn’t do the oil change. But they actually called me to tell me. Really?!

My experience has been the same and in most cases worse then Jeep/FCA dealerships. I had every service done on my F250 at the dealer for just over 2 years. After 3 stripped oil drain plugs, (Starting it with a drill instead of by hand) broken center cap, because the tech. was to stupid to not smack it in the center to re-install, dry starting the truck after fuel filter changes instead of following the procedure laid out by Ford, and finally over filling it with oil and causing the engine to spring a leak out of the front I said F you guys.

The last time I talked with them, this is what they said. We can't keep Tech.'s no one wants to work on cars anymore, their in a hot open bay, getting dirty on a Saturday and they don't gives a rats ass about your $71K King Ranch truck. In the time you have been bringing your truck here for service the same Tech. has never touched it twice. In fact the only Tech. that still works here since you have been bringing your truck in is the diesel tech.

In short this is industry wide, very few wake up one day and say to themselves, I want to work on cars for a living. I have about 10 auto Tech.s on the floor right now because they don't want to be in automotive. Some after 6 months or so, some after a few years. Screw this, hot ass engines, dirty all the time ungrateful demanding asshole customers. It's a dyeing field, people want to sit behind a desk at a comp. in the A/C and eat all day, they don't want to turn wrenches on a vehicle.

I know MFG are looking at ways to get and keep technicians but it is a bad time right now, and it will most likely be a while before we see a noticeable improvement.

Dealer that sold our Jeep was always polite. They always smiled when they said, "It's a Jeep Thing"

When the TSB came out for the Wrangler steering gear change I heard that again. And they refused to do the work in the TSB inspire of help reading it.

@JeepCares referred me to FCA Jeep Canada Customer Care. The rep there was so helpful and recommended another dealer

that dealer was Team Jeep near Toronto and they were excellent. They did the work perfectly, and it made a massive change in the handling of the Wrangler. It was fun to drive after that. "It's a Jeep Thing!"

Rairdon just sucks in general. Service sucks, sales team is sleazy.
Yeah, I’ve only interacting with their stores in Bellingham and Marysville: they seemed cut from the same cloth.

Isn’t it ironic that their slogan is “A Culture of Care....”? ?

Must be some others?
My all-time favorites are the Camaro Crash Helmet, Mississippi Bobcat, Pittsburgh Perm, Canadian Haircape and the Achy Breaky Big Mistakey. I grew up in the south and used to sport one, so I'm making fun of myself here.
