I’ve looked thru a few threads,, but thought I’d just ask.

Is Bartact still the seat cover of choice?

Those were one of my very first upgrades when I bought my 2016 2door new. And I’ve loved them to this day And use the molle.

But in 2015/2016 there seemed to be much less choices than today. What else should I look at (my 2024 Willy’s is on order)? Anything else? Most importantly is, I want custom or custom fit. I want it to look OEM. That at least non-Jeep peeps wouldn’t know wasn’t OEM.

I might be interested in different colors than offered by Bartact. But not at expense of fit, quality.

Im asking in the 2door thread in particular I don’t carry a back seat. Typically and likely won’t get a cover for it.

They're a bit pricier, but I've seen some nice PRP covers also. They seem more like a cosmetic or "I have cloth but want leather" option though.

I had Bartacts on my 2015 JKU. Went with a set of custom PRP covers for my 2020 JLU. My advice, go with a set of Bartacts. The PRPs are not worth the price. It could be because I bought mine during the peak of COVID that the fit and finish of my set isn’t what I expected, but I still don’t recommend them.

i’ve touted bartact several times over the past few years. definitely my favorite addition to the jeep. thus far, bulletproof. kids/dogs and no fading. expensive but worth it in my opinion.

I would rather not have leather seats in my JLR but that is the only way the X package comes...I love the leather in my TRX but they are also vented/cooled, a big plus for those who live in Hells Acres! (AKA Arizona desert) One of my clients took his 392 to an upholstery shop and had very high grade black velvet/velour inserts installed just on the seating surfaces, have to say it looks good and sure as hell is comfortable! Though it's treated with some type of 'scotch guard' for ease of cleaning, I am wondering how it will hold up...Also $$$$

I did not know about PRP. Lots of options. But not really wanting leather. But sure love the color options.

Im keeping Bartact as 1st choice, but will continue to look. I’d love to find something w/Anvil, but I do like my current gray that break up the all black interior (and ever so slightly cooler in the Texas heat).

that’s what I did (mine is a JLU with the SOT though, just to be clear) - I went with gray bartacts keep it lighter in the winter and cooler when the half doors are on and the sun hits on the seats directly:

PRP seat covers are not leather. They are high quality vinyl. You can also get cordura or suede.

I like the Carhartt seat covers. Mostly because they seem indestructible. And being light gray, break up the all black interior of my black Wrangler.
