……….and yes I can still torque to 190 ft lbs, with the washer on I’m not concerned about it. I’ll probably try and get a shorter bolt later, but for now, this is how we’re rolling…

And hopefully the last surprise from my sliders, had to make a 4 point bolt, to get them in past the sliders.….…..……….and yes I can still torque to 190 ft lbs, with the washer on I’m not concerned about it. I’ll probably try and get a shorter bolt later, but for now, this is how we’re rolling…

All I got left to do now is reinstall the rear axle, test drive, and adjust ……… figure I’ll have 24 hours total in the install……..![]()
Thanks brother…….. yeah, it’s definitely labor intensive, but it’s been fun, I’ve enjoyed it. The instructions are pretty good, but you definitely need to be able to shoot from the hip on a few things. Also trying to make it work with my sliders, probably added a few hours. That is creative bolt. Damn sliders LOL.
Looking good man. Like I said before - THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD TRY THIS INSTALL![]()
I was just thinking about you and your Axle status. Lo and behold you popped up on forum list. I cannot say much cause I don't know exactly how you get the correct measurements to rebuild axle. Guess will need to read about the Long Arm kit. I am sure you know what you are doing since you are Mr. Jelly to me.Thanks brother…….. yeah, it’s definitely labor intensive, but it’s been fun, I’ve enjoyed it. Sure I will see the finished product soon. I'll be on my Jeep for now.
Hey thanks brother, appreciatechya ……. Been a minute since I’ve seen y’all on here…. As for the rabbit hole, I found a nice big ledge to set up camp on for a minute, before continuing down..…? .Awesome updates man! Good job....on the job!Looks like great work and the jeep looks great with the raised mounts and CAs. Cant wait to see some action shots and get more feedback from ya! .....as he continues to journey down the rabbit hole!! Congrats on this one!

Here’s a before and after to show how there’s almost no difference in ground clearance…….

But there’s a big difference between shock mounts on axle…….

Also when dialing in my alignment, I noticed that I’m able to run a little less caster and the Jeep still tracks straight, zero wandering, this is a good thing, now my pinion angle is a little better and my bump stops hit more squarely when stuffed. This is significant, as I’m probably going to get hydros.

So far the pros are far exceeding the cons, well the only one con I’ve found so far, that is. When I’m stuffed in the rear the arm is hitting the body mount bolt…… There's nothing in the instructions for this, so I called RK, and they gave me a fix, but I’ll go into that more when I research it further to see if that’s what I want to do, or run more bump, which I really don’t want to do……..
