About a year ago I had the corrosion issue with the hinges and the dealer repainted them under warranty. In June of this year I noticed the same issue and brought it back to the dealer who said that there was a new fix by jeep where they would replace the hinges with a new design and material. Dealer ordered and said they were on backordered. It is now September and part is still on backorder. Dealer said they contacted jeep and it could be February when they will be available. Has anyone experience this? What is going on. Now the corrosion on the doors is growing and now my hood is starting to corrode .

Waiting for the intake manifold, after waiting for four months, there is still no ETA. The Jeep is currently sitting at the dealership.

Just curious. What year is your Jeep and when does the warranty end? I believe it's 5 years from the sale date.

Jeep dealers have been known to drag it out and screw people over. Keep all documents and communication with Jeep.

Jeep is a 2020 so I still have some time. They said they had over 50 on order. Thanks for the reply
