Coolant reservoir almost empty at 14000 miles. Any ideas why so low? What coolant is a good replacement?

I tried finding something at Autozone that had the required MS numbers and wasn't able to. I didn't feel comfortable with anything I saw there so went to the dealership and got the overpriced Mopar branded stuff. I believe the 50/50 pre-diluted is MS.12106 and the full strength is MS.90032. I'd verify in your manual though.

You wouldn’t like me if you knew
U sure it’s not the overflow tank? If so that’s normal

Not sure I'd agree with it being normal. It has high and low level markings.

This is an interesting thread
Unfortunately most references are to 2.0 4cyl or 3.6 engines
I haven't seen something dedicated to us 3.0L Eco-Diesel owners
I would believe there has to be some difference, although I'm not a mechanic
Much appreciated on this thread

Per the 2021 manual the coolant is the same in each engine.

If you've got a 2.0L, it's not normal at all. See HERE.

Refilled my empty reservoir with distilled water after 12k miles. Need to pick up the MOPAR specific coolant.

Isn't orange propylene glycol and green ethylene glycol? The later being sweeter and more toxic to animals and jeepers.

You can buy Mopar coolant at the dealership or off of Amazon. Amazon has concentrate and 50/50 mixed fairly inexpensive. I just flushed both of my Jeeps and went with concentrate because you can get more out of it once you mix it with distilled water. I do a 60/40 mix of water to antifreeze and add a bottle of Wetter Water to it.

Yep. My new JLUR has the overflow reservoir full at the max level line.

Perhaps you looked at the coolant level markings when you JL was warm/hot.

Typical when a JL/JT is cold ,(has not been run in hours) is you see the coolant level between the min and max lines..... closer to the minimum line.

Correct. When warm, my coolant level is at max line, and a notch below the max line when cold.
