I have a 23' and to say it "fits", is a stretch.

That is the same problem I am having. Is it the brake lines below causing the problems? Or is it a different booster. I looked in mopar and does appear there was some different booster part numbers.

It looks like it. The other person who posted theirs, doesn't have the brake lines that run across the frame like I do. Also the brake lines coming off the ABS Module interfere with fitment as well.. I ended up shimming my with some washers.

Once mine gets back from the body shop, I'm going to look into making sure there's a air gap between the booster and the washer tank, or add some kind of chafe guard so it doesn't rub through either one.

I am switching to evo inner fenders in order to run coil overs. I can’t push the tank forward. Tried with factory tank and it’s a no go either

There is so much room back there, I am sure I can make something work. I will call Moto bilt today. See if they know anything or will give a credit.

I talked to Motobilt today. They are aware of it, and are coming out with a modified tank for this issue. They stated they made one for someone and we’re waiting for them to give word on if it works.

They say anything about us that bought this style? Can we get a refund/credit/discount?

They told me to stand by. If the new style tank works they would let me know, and send me a shipping label to send back this tank.

As many of you know, the Jeep engineers added a massive windshield washer reservoir that gets in the way of aftermarket fender liners. Here’s what I did to solve this problem....

I ordered a 2 quart reservoir from US Plastics, swapped out the pump (no modification necessary here), and drilled equal size holes for the sensor and inlet. I used a step bit to match up the hole sizes.

The sensors hole is roughly 1 1/8” in diameter and the inlet was slightly larger than 1 3/8. I opted to make the inlet hole so I could add fluid and keep it like the factory.

I trimmed the bolt ends coming through the firewall that got in the way of the reservoir (see pic where The blue plier ends are pointing). I used one of these bolts as a mounting point (secure with a nut) and used self tapping screws on the drivers side... be sure you don’t go crazy long with those in case there are wires behind the firewall.

This was an easy mod for around 40 bucks. The shipping cost ($20) was as much as the reservoir. No leaks, sensor is happy (no warning) and sprays perfectly. Sorry if pics are out of order... you get the idea.

How did you ge the original spout to fit? It seems like there’s no chance it will reach. I have the JT but engine bay is identical…

It will fit in the exact upper mounting position, if you cut your spout and mount a L shaped hose inline (Part#D72070 for cross reference) Mine is mounted off the side of the tank, then cut the hose for perfect fit up.
