Without having to pay the Mopar stearlership? Has anyone found an acceptable aftermarket coolant for the Diesel? And yes, I used the search, couldn't find anything other than buy the mopar brand. TIA!

Purchase the concentrate and dilute it with distilled water.

So….what’s the reason for needing coolant currently?

Are you requiring a top off, or are you exchanging it because of miles?

Concentrate from Mopar? Or is there an aftermarket product?
The concentrate from mopar.
I bought a cheap bottle of distilled water at the grocery store, dumped out a little over half on my front yard plants, and poured in the concentrate until it was just about full. Shake it up so the color is nice and consistent (without spilling everywhere obviously) and you’re good to use it.
Mine was just below the minimum in the reservoir tank when I bought it (32,000 miles). Had to top it off to the max level twice (not nearly as much the 2nd time) since the system self-bleeds but it’s holding rock steady now.

Get the mopar coolant. If you can’t afford the correct diesel maintenance, you shouldn’t have paid more for the diesel, especially a Mopar diesel. Diesels are for deep pockets. Everything cost more.

There is a universal at Walmart that says it’s compatible with Mopar.

Just a top off.
If you’re dead-set against going to a dealership and buying their 50/50 premixed, look at Peak Final Charge. It’s OAT and lots have used it with good success in RAM / Cummins applications.

On a sidenote…….any 50/50 premixed coolant is gonna wind up being some expensive water, when compared to concentrate.
