OP's (@Deki's) windshield cracked 85 miles after picking it up from the dealership. You didn't quote anyone with your response, so maybe you were talking about someone else.

Just factory-installed Gorilla Glass.

Well 1760 for a new windshield. Dealer I called said they have to take photos and send it to Stellantis to see if they will cover it. The warranty language is very vague and is written so they can deny it any time they want really. I wonder if @JeepCares has any advice or information on this?

You can get an aftermarket installed around $500. 3 companies who make all the glasses
Fuyao. Pilkington and another brand I forget

My other glass company said they can only source OEM right now due to the integrated antenna. I haven’t called Safelite yet.

Do your self a huge favor and find another independent auto glass installer. Stay away from Safelite. Period ! If you’re in Los Angeles area I would tell you who to use

I’ve never used them, I use GlasTek here in Phoenix. Family owned and I’ve used them for about 10 years now. They just said they can’t get any other glass other than OEM.

What issues have you had with Safelite? I’ve had several (non-Jeep) windshields replaced by them with no issues. Maybe I’ve just been lucky?

You can use a windshield repair kit and pray that doesn't keep going
or,
Get the FREE Gorilla Glass Replacement and add ExoShield or any other windshield protection film (for extra protection).

So much this. I've had and seen more broken/cracked/chipped/etc glass in Alaska on vehicles that don't normally get anything than I have seen in the rest of the US.

Well just got a call from my Service Advisor.

Moore Jeep in Peoria here said they will cover it. They got authorization from Stellantis.
