Cold start inquiry

After cold start my new JL idols around 1400 rpm for nearly 3 minutes and then settles down to aprox 800 rpm's. Any others experience this in the 2.0 turbo engine? Thanks!

I have the 3.6, and it idles around 1200-1500 depending on how cold it is, until the engine gets a little warmed up. For me it's typically only like 20-30 seconds, but I'm in South Florida, so a cold morning in January is 40-50 degrees.

I'm jealous! I'm thinking it's about time to retire some place a little warmer.
