Look like jeep should make this , instead of having to buy on the aftermarket and holding on with zip ties . My diesel truck came with a factory supplied one , probably because they knew you would need it if you were to drive it in winter conditions . Jeep engineers must not have thought of that ..... People driving in winter conditions that is .Looks like the cold weather grill cover is a good solution

The part number from Jeep is literally in the postLook like jeep should make this
Should have read the whole post ....The part number from Jeep is literally in the post
Or at least letting people know how the vehicle behaves and that they may face limited electric mode use in the cold without.Still think if it is necessary it should be provided from the factory . Not having to purchase it separately .
I agree that it doesn’t work for everyone, especially not yet. It is kind of strange to me that people who live in high density, rental housing are concerned about the quasi-push for you to not own a car. You are willing to not own the ground or structure you live in, but draw the line at a car? I’m not giving up either, but if all transportation became public driverless ride sharing I’d get on board with that before I gave up my home. Many people who live in cities don’t own cars, property, or much else for that matter, to each his own I guess. If you live in a downtown apartment and still have a commute long enough that daily or even weekly charging is a concern, I think you are doing it wrong. Do you commute from down town out into the country for work? There’s a reason so many of us do the opposite, but I can’t think of 1 reason to commute out of town?
That’s the beauty and the curse of a plug in hybrid, the range is so short that it needs charged daily, but also works fine if you never charge it. My thoughts were more for the full EV city dwellers, 2-300 mile range would have them charging every other week tops if not once a month. I don’t think you need a garage, driveway, or any other home charger if you drive that little. Obviously the commuter would want to be able to charge at home, as the charging time on top of commute time would be obnoxious, but I don’t think many people commute to live in an apartment.I own a vehicle because I have two kids and the child seat is an issue, I can use something like ZipCar or similar, but the hassle of installing 2 child seats and removing them is a nuisance, cost of carshare and nuisance factor associated with the child seats, mean the 4xe is a great option for me, and I am driving a vehicle I enjoy driving, I also find myself driving more since I got the 4xe.
I don't commute, I mostly drive for fun, taking the kids to school etc, the 4xe suits me because almost all of my round trips are less than 20km and are spread out during the day, so I charge up for night for $3 at a public charger, then just top up for free the rest of the day.
Prior to the 4xe my 2018 JL was costing upwards of $400 a month in gas, that money now basically covers the payments
I also don't drive as much in the spring - summer - autumn, and tend to ride mostly, but the Wrangler just begs to be driven every day.
About 25% of America lives in multi dwelling, would be interesting to see how they adapt to high gas prices.
I understand. Trust me.This is why I live in Southern California lol. How can humans survive in that kind of weather?? I need to be able to surf every day of the year!

Question on this winter grill cover. I see a bunch of websites show a picture of this part, and it looks like a traditional “bra” that only protects the front end, but would let the same amount of air into the radiator/engine bay:Mopar winter front 82215366
Most sites seem to show the incorrect picture taken from the same source while more than one person who actually purchased that part number got the correct item.Question on this winter grill cover. But when I click on the installation instructions, it shows a full cover, as shown here:

A similar story comes up on eBay. Most of the pics seem to be showing a bra, and not a cold weather cover. See here:

Can anyone confirm that part #82215366 does NOT look like all the pictures I’m seeing above on eBay, and on Mopar’s website? Or maybe you get both the bra and the cover when you order this part?
Thanks!
I have seen a few reports from people that they ordered and got the actual winter cover instead of the improperly shown normal bra.Question on this winter grill cover.
