this started relatively recently. which makes me think it cant be install related as i havent installed anything in quite a while.

when at a stop, when i accelerate or let off the gas, i get an audible clunk and can feel it. it only happens when foot on or off the gas pedal. not while driving or any other time. even my kids have asked me what that noise is. i havent had any time to climb under there to look around and who knows when i will. if anyone has any input on where to start looking id appreciate it. could it be driveshaft related? hopefully nothing with the transmission..... the transmission works beautifully when shifting.

i installed anti-rocks a few months ago. long before this started. the rubber inserts that hold the bar in place were not a tight fit like they were supposed to be in the front. i checked them and there's no movement but the jeep is on the ground of course. i dont know if it would have started clunking after a few months..

I had a cable and connector on my aftermarket tail lights swinging around. The zip tie failed, and it was dangling around, hitting against the metal and echoing through the jeep. It was super annoying.

Also, check the torx on the tailgate latch. Mine were a tad loose. 2 second check.

Driveshaft and swaybar were actually my first gut instinct. Lots of things it could be though.

My 2018 Sahara 6 speed MT had the same "CLUNK" anytime I rolled to a stop and then moved forward. It happened all the time at the ID Check points on the base here. There's a thread or two about the clunking. I've sold mine and my 23 Rubi with the 6 speed doesn't do it. So whatever it was Jeep must have fixed it.

It's a Jeep thing. My Jeep has never been the same after we ran Dishpan. It was beginning of its downfall. 😂

From experience, I'd examine the driveshafts (rear, then front) to determine if the clunk can be reproduced in the garage, and thus ID exactly where it's occurring. Jack stands at all four corners to get all the tires off the floor. Have the family members rotate both rears and then both fronts at the same time, in as equal a manner as possible and in the same direction.

Mine didn’t clunk after initial installation then over time they started. I retightened and it stopped. Removed and reinstalled and after a while it started again. Retightened…stopped…started again just recently. Well you get the point. Hopefully something that is simple and just costs you some time.
