and now i have four rattling tube doors. once of which i cannot even open!!

and no time to deal with it any time soon. stupid job! and school! and family!

If it makes you feel any better my Jeep started making a whistling/rattling sound when I was driving into work on Monday. Then in stopped for 2 days but then randomly made the sound again today.

I can't even believe they felt it was appropriate to respond. Almost the funniest thing I've seen today. Too much salt mining to say it was the funniest but it was still up there.

Those suction cup looking marks on the inner fender and bumper and this makes me think some sort of X-files stuff happened to your Jeep.

Well I do live in Los Angeles so my first thought was cupping which I think is a thing here... but that makes no sense. So yeah, aliens?

sorry to revive this thread. but im searching for answers on a very similar issue. I've seen lots of threads on this stuff but I haven't seen any fixes

i'm on my second JL. but this is my first 3.6L

I now have a 2024 2 door Rubicon. automatic

I get a clunk, you could call it a pop or a knock. not just audible but I feel it through the floor.

this happens throughout several different scenarios.

with nothing loose in the jeep. everything is secured.

when im in pretty much any gear and let off the gas. ( clunk )

as soon as I lightly tap it again ( clunk )

on the highway around 50-60. I let off ( clunk ) lightly tap the gas ( clunk )

when im going at any moderate speed and notice a red light, I let off the gas to slow down ( clunk )

when it coasts from 4th to 3rd ( clunk )

then also, when I tap the brake lightly, the jeep jolts forward.

a few other threads are leading me to believe this is normal driveline lash. I hope it is, but it's hard to accept when my other jeep never did it.

This is EXACTLY my problem! Were you able to figure out what the problem was??
