No dealer is going to play in your dealers playground. I cannot imagine a dealer not being able to get in touch with their FCA rep. Maybe this does happen. Either way do you want to do business with a dealer that cannot get a response from his rep? If the dealer is lying and really does not want to change the order by contacting the rep do you want to give him your business?

You are the consumer and you have the power in this situation. You can simply go to another dealer and order with the options you want. Jeep chat also does not hold a lot of weight. People get conflicting information and post about it on this forum every day. So you have two choices. Wait it out and hope it comes sooner or go to another dealer and place an order. Even with a new order you may still be waiting until May simply because they are overwhelmed with orders and shipping is all backed up.
I didn't know to ask the dealer before I started doing business with them if "how's your relationship with your FCA rep?". Now I know to ask that question, but in reality, no sales person is going to admit that up front. I don't want to lose my deposit AND the option prices have increased, so canceling and switching will cost me a lot of money.

Who at the dealer are you talking to? The salesman, sales manager, general manager, or owner?

If someone at the dealer is literally telling you they cannot get a sales Rep to talk to them then you need to go to that person's boss and keep going up the chain until you are talking to the owner. And if they still can't get a rep to talk to them then you certainly should be able to get your deposit back because they are incompetent. And at that point if you still don't want to go to another dealer because you would rather wait and save money then that is your decision.

I just found out today that my order is in D1 status with an estimated delivery of late this month. Not sure what D1 means but I ordered 3/19.

That means they have all of the parts (insert eye roll) and it is scheduled to build

Thank you for the info. I think i better lower my selling price on my BMW. I am trying to sell myself and avoid a trade but dont want to sell too quickly.

YES!! thanks to all of you for your help. My dealer DID add 3 options to my order today!! It can be done after VIN.
I ordered 1-11-18 and I added options 3-30-18 !! I now will get the Rubi fully loaded as I want. Thanks again to all
that informed me in the proper way.
Did the changes you requested after the original order show up correctly on the build sheet, or did they just show on the window sticker. My build sheet just came available and the 3 changes that my dealer apparently got approved are not showing on it. Sounds like they didn't get accepted by the factory but I want to be sure. Thanks!
