Hello,

I would like to change just one tire but I was wondering if I am still good or if my other tires have too much wear already to welcome a new one in the set without any negative effects.

I currently have some Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires that have around 8700 miles (about 14000 km) on them. Do you think I can include a new similar tire in the rotation and be fine with it as is?

Thanks a lot! :D

I just rotated in my spare at 10k miles with no issue. A little late, but 10k rotations are really all I feel like doing.

Youd be fine. Did you get a flat that cant be repaired?.

You could also buy the spare and keep it new until you wanna buy new tires. Do 4 tire rotations, then buy 4 later or buy 3, keep an old as spare, and keep on 4 tire rotations.

But you are still low mileage enough to add a new tire.

I had a blow out and put new tire on rear right and took new spare to rear left. Then put the used left rear as my spare... I have 11k milage on the front two.

Hope this helps.

Thank you guys, this really helps! That is what I thought but I felt like asking to be sure about it. Knowing that some people do their rotation at 10k miles means that I should be fine with my 8.7k miles. ?

Thanks a lot again!
