  1. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

Thanks all for your help! I loosened the 8 main bolts that hold the bumper to the frame and then I managed to move the bumper parts a little bit to be able to fit the hardware back in place without too much pressure on it. The bull bar went on and everything works fine now! I had tightened all...
  2. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

I removed these bolts only to put back my Warn Winch Guard / Bull Bar after the install was complete. There are 3 on each side that bolt the winch guard on the bumper. I did this plenty of time in the past, removing and putting the bull bar back and it always worked fine.
  3. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

Thanks guys! I'll try that and let you know how it turns out! :P
  4. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

I'll try that as well, thanks! However, if I "force" it in this position with the strap and then reinstall the grille guard and the bolts, won't it be hard on the hardware and the bumper when I'll remove the ratchet strap?
  5. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

Exactly which bolts are you talking about?
  6. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

I tried that and it would not move easily. I did not want to go too hard not to mess anything...
  7. Misaligned my stock Front Steel Bumper :(

I removed my bumper yesterday to install my winch and the Warn winch plate. When I put it back in place, everything went fine -- I did not notice anything weird. However, when I removed the bolts to put back my Warn Grille Guard, the holes on the driver side are now all misaligned and the bolts...
  8. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

Wow, that is a lot of useful information, thanks so much for taking the time to explain this to me, buddy! Now, I feel a little less noob and I think I'll definetly start with that Midland unit! It feels so much more clear now. One more question for you if I may ask : what do you use for...
  9. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look elsewhere! :D
  10. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

I will get a CB handheld radio for now, but I'll definetly get a GMRS radio as well someday. Just gotta check out how it's gonna be working in Canada.
  11. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

That sounds really great. Is that the mobile adapter version that you are talking about? Midland 75-822 Handheld 40-Channel Cb Radio With Weather/All-Hazard Monitor & Mobile Adapter : Amazon.ca: Electronics
  12. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

Thanks! I'll look into the Larsen NMO27. And yes, you are right, I should really get an adjustable antenna. I just wanna make sure it fits with the CB radio I'll be getting. Is that all pretty universal -- CB antennas can fit on handheld CB radios? 🤓
  13. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

That sounds nice as well! Do you think / know if a longer 2' or 3' antenna such as the FireStik KW3B would work with the Midland 75 ?
  14. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

Thanks for your answers! I know that GMRS is getting more and more present, but I think most Jeep Clubs around where I live still use CB. Maybe I could get a CB and later on I'd also get a GMRS. Plus, i can't seem to find a place that currently has the Wouxun KG-805G GMRS in stock and that...
  15. Handheld CB Radio and Antenna Recommendation

Hello, I am looking to get just a handheld CB Radio that would be powered by batteries and/or while plugged in the vehicle using a cable. I am currently looking at the Uniden PRO401HH or the Midland 75-822, but would like some advice from some of you who might have had experience with them...
  16. Has anyone used the Warn power interrupt kit with a Smittybuilt X20 winch?

Thanks, I think that's what I will do! Winch negative to battery ground and PIK negative to a body ground! :like:
  17. Has anyone used the Warn power interrupt kit with a Smittybuilt X20 winch?

Quick qustion here, sorry to bring that back but I read some places saying that it is better to attach ground from the PIK and the winch both directly to the negative battery terminal, as well as other places where I read that it would be better to attach them to another grounding point. What...
  18. Baja Designs XL-R Sport (pair) installation

I updated my post a little bit and I have been looking to the harness a lot, but I think one of the things that bug me the most is how to connect both lights to the same aux switch. How do I merge both lights wires to a single positive/ground end? Should I use a T-tap or Scotchlok connector or...
  19. Baja Designs XL-R Sport (pair) installation

Hello, I have looked around quite a bit but it seems I cannot find much installation explanation for the Baja Designs XL-R Sport lights. I thought it would be similar to the non-XL Sport lights, but the harness seems to be different and I am not sure what to do to remove the switch properly, as...
  20. Changing just one tire !?

Thank you guys, this really helps! That is what I thought but I felt like asking to be sure about it. Knowing that some people do their rotation at 10k miles means that I should be fine with my 8.7k miles. 😄 Thanks a lot again!
