So all you really get on a 4Xe Rubicon X over a regular 4Xe Rubicon is some interior options and nothing off road worthy. Sounds just like Fords Bronco build theory.
Originally the only Willys that came with Highline fenders was one with the XR package but I did notice they changed that up to all Willys for 2024 since they upped the tire size to the same 33” as the Rubicon.
I guess when you look at it from that point of view. You are right.

Just want to make sure I under stand this correctly. With a 2024 JL Recon front Dana 44. The FAD has been deleted. Does this mean the axel shaft and front driveline are always turning in 2wd?

Yes, just like on the JK.

2024+ Rubicon 4xe (regular and X) came with the HD larger tube front axle with FAD delete and cast-iron/steel knuckles. I blv it was also on 2024+ Willys 4xe

The regular Rubicon has the same axle as the 2023. The 2024 Rubicon X has the Mojave/XR/392 HD front diff with the FAD delete that they use on the 392. It also has steel knuckles rather then aluminum.
I’m not sure if the Willis with XR package has the FAD delete or not.
my stock 24 rubi has no fad, aluminum knuckles.
