Finally got around to chalk testing my tires since I just rotated my spare in for the first time and just want second (and third, fourth.... lol) opinions on the results. It looks pretty darn good to me, but in all honestly I've never actually done it on a set of tires before.

I'm running Toyo OC AT3s in 295/65-20 and this is at about 28-29psi cold.

I’d say you should add a couple pounds. If you’re at the drag strip, your pattern would be perfect, but for street driving I prefer a bit less outside edge contact. If you run like that, you will loose a little cornering traction as the outside edge will flatten a bit. Most street tires are designed to run a bit more on the center tread than what you have. Experiment a bit and measure tread depth every 500 miles or so to make sure tires are wearing evenly.

Thanks, I'll bump it up a little and check again. To be clear, you're saying there's less cornering traction as it sits now, vs riding on a slight crown?

I may be wrong (usually am) but dont you check the pattern on the ground and adjust from there? ;)

It can be done either way. Check the chalk transfer to the ground or check what has worn off the tire.
Out of curiosity what does this say your psi should be?

It shows 36psi, same as the stock 275/55R20. I find that hard to believe considering the size difference and the fact that these are E-rated vs the OEM SL rated tires.

Oh.... Even though the tread will touch and transfer, it doesn't mean it is an even pattern with the other tread. Just my $.02. Seriously, no worries. Your Jeep, your tires.

I think you're misunderstanding... I meant it can be checked by looking at the transfer of the chalk from the tire to the ground, not to a different tire. Or, as I've done here, applied chalk to the tire and rolled down my driveway, then back up (about 125' total) and looked to see that the chalk wore off evenly.
