Well, I just placed an order for the KCFT even though mine is working ok up until now. Estimated delivery date is the end of August.

I’ve only driven it about 30 miles but there’s a big difference, the clutch engages much sooner, the jeep feels like it has more power and it shifts much more like a sports car now. The clutch pedal is stiffer but I’ll get used to it, soon as it’s broken in I’m taking it off-road

Good to hear. Any sign of the Chewbacca sound?

What is the chance that the centerforce can shatter?

It looks beefier than the stock clutch but I know Jack about autos lol.
I am really scared sh** to drive my Jeep.
I haven’t had any issues so far other than my pedal creaking. I will say I don’t feel the manual has any power when taking off but I think that’s manuals in general.
I’m in the fence to putting the centerforce in or trading it in and getting an auto.
Positive to that would be getting remote start which I miss.

i think you’ll be fine if you have not had any problems like rpm’s fluctuating, if you see the clutch slipping then yeah take it in.

i did it as a preventative measure since I wheel far from home sometimes.

Good morning everyone my name is Matt and I'am new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone with a MT JL has any input on the
Centerforce 2 or the Centerforce Duel Friction clutch kits since they have been available for a little while now.

I look forward to hearing from y'all. Hope to meet you out on the trails!

-Matt
So did you all have clutches that failed already? I just bought a 19 JL manual 2 door and reading in this clutch recall thing. Rev hang is so bad on my jeep I’m thinking about trading it in.

Did the new clutch remove the detune patch jeep put on the recalled clutches?

That’s a good question. My understanding is the patch created a warning message when the clutch gets warm. I would think it would still work with the CF

Mine hasn’t failed yet but I’m looking at preventive measures.
