Good to hear. Any sign of the Chewbacca sound?I’ve only driven it about 30 miles but there’s a big difference, the clutch engages much sooner, the jeep feels like it has more power and it shifts much more like a sports car now. The clutch pedal is stiffer but I’ll get used to it, soon as it’s broken in I’m taking it off-road
Hundred miles in, so far so goodGood to hear. Any sign of the Chewbacca sound?

Ehhh let’s not talk about that, pretty much the price of the clutch plus 12 hours of shop timeGood to hear. How much did you spend all in?
What is the chance that the centerforce can shatter?I’ve only driven it about 30 miles but there’s a big difference, the clutch engages much sooner, the jeep feels like it has more power and it shifts much more like a sports car now. i think you’ll be fine if you have not had any problems like rpm’s fluctuating, if you see the clutch slipping then yeah take it in.It looks beefier than the stock clutch but I know Jack about autos lol.
I am really scared sh** to drive my Jeep.
I haven’t had any issues so far other than my pedal creaking. I will say I don’t feel the manual has any power when taking off but I think that’s manuals in general.
I’m in the fence to putting the centerforce in or trading it in and getting an auto.
Positive to that would be getting remote start which I miss.
So did you all have clutches that failed already? I just bought a 19 JL manual 2 door and reading in this clutch recall thing. Rev hang is so bad on my jeep I’m thinking about trading it in.Good morning everyone my name is Matt and I'am new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone with a MT JL has any input on the
Centerforce 2 or the Centerforce Duel Friction clutch kits since they have been available for a little while now.
I look forward to hearing from y'all. Hope to meet you out on the trails!

That’s a good question. My understanding is the patch created a warning message when the clutch gets warm. I would think it would still work with the CFSo did you all have clutches that failed already? I just bought a 19 JL manual 2 door and reading in this clutch recall thing. Did the new clutch remove the detune patch jeep put on the recalled clutches?
