Good morning everyone my name is Matt and I'am new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone with a MT JL has any input on the
Centerforce 2 or the Centerforce Duel Friction clutch kits since they have been available for a little while now.

I look forward to hearing from y'all. Hope to meet you out on the trails!

Crossing fingers, but I've had three versions. I've connected with two people that piloted the newest version since Dec and had positive things to say about it....

OT- But I'd use their clutch for the application in question w/o hesitation as soon as I could get my hands on it. I just replaced a 27 year old CF-II clutch in my 88 E-150, with another one. The disk had little to no wear after 80K miles of stop and go HD use. The slave cylinder failed. Since it's internal I replaced all clutch related parts, the RMS, and front transmission seal. I'm still breaking it in, the Centerforce II clutch is performing flawlessly.

Hope you're right on the 3rd gen.... I've had three versions of the JL clutch and none are great...

You can't blame the clutch if there's a design flaw with the hydraulic system. I tossed a serviceable clutch because the slave cylinder failed. Hopefully the redesign of the hydraulic system solves the problem.

I was able to install the centerforce clutch kit over the 4th of July weekend, however the slave cylinder failed. I called centerforce and they were great and a new one is in route. I was told this was the first reported issue with the slave cylinder in this new version of this lit. Centerforce kit KCFT157077. I ordered it through extreme terrain. Once I get the jeep up and running again I’ll post a write up about install & performance of the new kit!
