Hi!

What is the current lead time on this bumper? I just broke my stock plastic one and I like the look of this one.

Thanks!

Hope they get it turned back on for you guys.

The front and rear we ordered shipped in 1 day a couple weeks ago. Waiting on the tire carrier now though. Got an email update with the original shipping that waiting on hardware for it.

Mocked Up to determine where to drill for lights:

Hi!

This is great news! I sent you a message through Facebook this morning about ordering a bumper and picking it up. I live in Atlanta and would rather come pick it up, rather than have you ship it. Is that a possibility? If so, how would I proceed during Checkout?

Thanks for being a great Forum sponsor and Jeep vendor!

Hopefully I didn't miss it!

Ill post this here though incase anyone else has the same question. We suggest still ordering online and selecting a shipping method. On the order comments list that you want to pick it up. Once the order is ready we will contact you for pickup. Once picked up we will refund the shipping charges.

@CavFab_mfg I have a stock plastic bumper. Is it possible to order the metal Mopar sensor retainer clips and install them on the sensors from the plastic bumper for a better fit?

Yes you should be able to do that. WE haven't done that here in the shop, but through the grapevine I've heard of other customers doing this to make the install process a bit easier.

Otherwise you have to cut the sensors out and epoxy them into the new bumper.

Deciding between this and another bumper. I'm trying to get a bumper that won't flex into the tub like my factory steel bumper has already done.

Does the full width make it more prone to this when dropping off good sized ledges?

Sorry for just now seeing this. I had the factory plastic bumper and ordered the Mopar pieces and installed the backup sensors in the Cavfab. I made sure I knew the indexing before I took everything apart and I mimicked it on the Cavfab. They worked first shot.

Hope this helps!

The bumper will not flex however, the body of the jeep jiggles around significantly.
I would recommend the full width as it provides the most coverage while maintaining high clearance for ledges.
You will notice that underneath on the sides the bumper has a fairly large "wing" that also helps to keep things smooth when in very tight spots.

I believe you will be very happy with the Full Width Crawler, if protection and clearance are the top priorities.

let us know if you have anymore questions.
