Since my truck ate it’s injection pump, we took the JLUR down the hill to get the rest of our moving stuff out yesterday.
19 JLUR Hardtop with Hot Headz headliner/strips and 37 MTs
19 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.7 35 RTs
Wind noise is atrocious compared to the truck. Active Noise Cancelling is pretty...
We went used on our 19 JLUR last summer since it was a hidden jem. Non-Jeep dealer had it listed and priced as Manual Trans, therefore we had overlooked it for about a week.
Ended up with mostly fully loaded Rubicon (every package except Leather; color matched fenders, and black hardtop as we...
Went the opposite direction with a variation a number of years ago.
Camped east of Escalante off Hole In the Rock Rd.
Turned off the highway in Boulder and went thru Grand Staircase Escalante. Down the switchbacks and took the dirt road around the southside of the Henry Mtn before joining the...
Think through all your possible future needs.
Ceiling height vs Body Height = Being 6' tall, some vehicles can be tall (from frame to roof) so that I can't stand up straight underneath
Body and Mirror Width = my Ram 2500 has to have mirrors folded and tires barely get between arms when...

The front and rear we ordered shipped in 1 day a couple weeks ago. Waiting on the tire carrier now though. Got an email update with the original shipping that waiting on hardware for it.

Did get a BTS mount from PT for the JLU though.
Amen. I prefer solid front axles given the consistency compared to IFS for me personally, but I do not enjoy driving the JLUR for very long. Very fatiguing.
Whereas my prior Ram 2500 Power Wagon on 37s was great and easy and the new 2500 Diesel is pretty much just as good.
Put me in the No Way Camp. I don’t get any of the sunrider options. I wish the hardtop didn’t have Freedom Panels. I’d love it if the basic TrekTop didn’t open at all. Pulling just the windows is as far as we will ever go. Saves having to deal with any bikinis or shade tops. And would be...
