Who says the bracket can't go on top of the bumper JK style?

The point is Cav Fab wants you to buy their shit yet can't give you any options at all it's their way or the highway.
We provide many solutions to many problems. mounting a license plate on the rear bumper i assume? would create a problem. it sticks out and would snag on trail obstacles. We used to provide a mount that you could drill holes in your bumper to mount it this way.
we sold 2 of them in 4 years.

We may look at that in the future, however doing so requires quite a bit of additional overhead...another product (part number, keeping up with stock, etc), a different process for the laser, etc.
WHAT?

It doesn't require anything extra, just don't have the laser cutter cut those holes...

I love your design, actually want a set of Rampage bumpers but I do not want those cutouts. They are ridiculous.

Also this...
"Designed to work specifically with Baja Designs Squadrons"

I would never buy anything from Baja Designs, why would I want a bumper that needs modified to work with any other lights? If I'm doing aux lighting it has to be KC lights or nothing. Why would you want to lock people into one option(even ish?)? What's the point of that?

Just for the record I roast a lot of aftermarket companies for dumb things, not just you guys. My "favorite" thing is using SAE hardware on otherwise metric vehicles...because I want to carry two sets of tools in my 2 door Jeep. Dumb stuff like that makes the aftermarket look silly sometimes.

I missed the context where this was at. Thought this was for a license plate bracket on a rear bumper.

I understand where you are coming from now.

We will have to order some different lights to give you guys some more options :D
When we started BD was all the rage.

Is there any specific reason why you would not run our product?

I'd rather not have the light cutouts at all then I wouldn't need to spend hundreds of dollars to fill the ugly holes in the bumper with lights I didn't even want.

I just installed the cavfab rear, or trying to. To solve the license plate issue, I ordered the terraflex license plate relocation and one off amazon. Both, IMO, are fails. Not satisfied my plate can just be pulled off by hand. Not satisfied how you have to jimmy around with connectors provided, to unplug prior to removing the brackets, in rain or snow at night, before you even begin to remove spare..

So I Bought what looks like the JK license plate holder off amazon. Easy peasy. Looks fine on the JL, hooks right into stock wire harness. Yes, I had to drill three holes for expanding nuts, big whoop. They even provided the cheap threaded nut tool to install, but I've done jeep stuff enough to know, you are gonna install expanding blind nuts...

Do you happen to have pictures of their packaging?
Typically, its spray foam and it is quite toxic / harmful to the environment. (we arent tree huggers, but we do our best to be mindful)
I don't, but yes most use spray in foam in plastic and then heavy cardboard. the most recent was the mopar bumper that I got 4 or 5 months ago and they just had nice cardboard corregated pieces to hold the bumper inside the heavy card board box. all recyclable. The LoD sliders were actually strapped to wood inside the cardboard box you could have dropped it from a plane with no damage the AEV bumpers were the same.

Wish you can ship with powder coating option.
Local shops are all ripoffs and it prevented me from buying your all sorts of fabricated products, which I do like
Might try rattle can. Powder coat will fade in sun. Not saying paint won't but $50 vs hundreds and you get it done now. Rustoleum laquer about ten coats including etch primer and fill primer wet sanded

I love the look of the bumper but not offering powder coating or e coating is a no go for me. I have no powder coaters who will do a bumper for anywhere reasonable price wise and only one within 100 miles and that requires leaving it and getting it a week later..

I had the same thought until I bought their tire carrier and found a local powder coating company. It was super easy, looks great. I had issues with cracked paint in the past during shipping.

How much does your local shop charge for powder coat?

Painting also allowed me to use black on interior and the black stainless I used on visible parts.
