Seriously, you need to get them away from your vehicle asap. Yes, they will pee in the Jeep. Especially outdoor cats. I’ve got experience with a dozen or so pet cats over the years, and they do mark their territory. You’ll never be able to get rid of cat pee smell. Check your local pet store for cat repellant. I’ve successfully used it inside my house, on upholstery, to keep the little buggers for peeing and scratching.

I'm loving the Jeep cat pics..

Tried the dirty dog netting and the tarp.. they haven't peed in there yet but I had a previous car that a cat peed in and there's no getting that smell out.. had to replace the seat..

They won’t pee but they might spray. We have a few cats here that LOVE tires and any type of cover or tarp. Or if it’s something new, for sure one of them will spray it. I can’t even pitch my tent overnight. It’s the most frustrating thing. Sorry, I don’t have any advice for you (aside from putting the top up at night), but I most certainly feel your concern. :(

Thinking about it, buying those plastic floor sheet things (the kind you put on carpet so your office chair can roll) to put on your seats upside down should help to deter them. The underside has little sharp rubber spikes that dig into the carpets. It won’t hurt the cats, but they sure won’t want to walk on them.

Edit: vinyl chair mat for carpet. I wasn’t sure if they made these anymore!

I know they hate anything citrus related but I don't know what products are available that emit a smell to keep them away. Probably not feasible to take up eating oranges and dropping the peels in the driveway.

Like someone else mentioned the main concern is them shredding the fuck out of your leather or upholstery. Depending on where you live fleas may be a concern but they’re pretty easy to kill. I’ve never had a cat piss or spray in one of my vehicles but a cat orgy was enough for me to start closing my sun roof overnight.

Are you in city limits? If not, a pellet gun should do the trick.
I think seat covers may be a better idea, the amount of rodents and squirrels I see drop from jeeps a cat a gonna significantly increase the life of your wiring.

This would be a lot more work for you, but have you considered Soft Paws? We had a couple of cats who liked to rip up everything except their scratching posts. I put Soft Paws on them. They're little plastic covers for their claws that you glue on the nail; it worked for us. After a while the cats lost interest in ripping everything up and I quit using them. Then they finally got interested in the scratching posts.
