:headbang:Anyone here have color remorse? I like too many different colors I cannot decide which one I like the most. I go from Billet Silver to Ocean Blue to Mojito to Sting Gray... I know I do not want black or white (my GC is Granite, jk is white) I don’t want anything too flashy though.

Not too flashy should remove Mojito.
Sting Grey is nice, kind of like anvil but less blue.
Billet silver is boring IMO, it doesn’t look good with accent colors like white or black works with accents.
No opinion on ocean blue.

I guess my vote goes to sting gray or ocean blue

I went with Sting Gray. Only remorse I have is that it’s popularity seems to be growing. I don’t like to see “my” Jeep everywhere!
But 90% around home are red, white, or granite, so I’m good for a while anyway! After that I’ll have to do more mods to keep mine unique!

No flash? Then I'd remove Ocean Blue and Mojito. I've narrowed mine to white and silver because of the high-contrast against the black accents, which gives the Wrangler that "sporty" look I like.

Stingray to me looks like an old moldy version of Pepto Bismol.

My problem with Stingray is it looks to much like machinery gray. Navy guys will know what I mean. The Blue was a very close 2nd for me I went with the Granite

I did not want billet until I saw it in person. I also did not want a body colored top until I saw my Jeep. The billet with color matched top and fenders looked amazing on the lot. So amazing I bought it that day. I haven’t seen another Billet JL on the street yet. Most of the ones I’ve seen are white or black

I do like the Sting Gray. I wouldn't call it remorse, but looking back I may have given it more consideration. Although, sometimes I laugh at the fact that when I was younger, a vehicle the same color as primer, wouldn't be near as popular. Lol. I was going back and forth between Red and Granite. But settled on Granite. I dont think you could go wrong with any color. I could make a case for all of them.

After deciding which engine and then platform to get I feel the color is the third most important decision. I was on the Mojito waiting group and when it came out listed as a clear coat I panicked and went Ocean Blue. It did end up being more of a pearl or small flake and it looks cool but thinking about it I may have gotten sick of it after the years but would have been OK with it as the contrast is there. We ordered ocean blue thinking it wont be flashy enough but got it anyways. The first time I saw the color is when we went to test drive it at the dealership. It is plenty flashy. There is so much metal flake. I love the way it changes colors from Blue in the sun to a Royal in the afternoon and then into an imperial hue in the evenings. I don't think I will ever get tired of OB. I've gotten so many compliments on just the color. After seeing the Hella Yella in the car show Video I would have put that second but they are now showing up as more of a school bus Yellow. I'm hoping that is just the overcast in the pictures.

My favorites 1: Ocean Blue 2: Mojito, 3: StingGray 4: FC Red

Sting "BATTLESHIP" Gray is a great finish and color. It definitely has a navy feel to it.

Of the colors listed, I think you may want to lean towards either Mojito or Ocean Blue. I like the Sting Gray also (someone posted a Sting Gray with a red mesh top, I thought that looked sharp), and I find the silver a bit generic (lots of cars/trucks look good in silver). Reasons why I would think you might want to go Mojito is that you say that you don't want anything too flashy, but I think its probably the "flashiest" color available, so you must like it. And you probably won't find many other cars that look good in a Mojito color. The Ocean Blue is a bit unusual also, for a blue.

Think about what mods (wheels, mesh top) you want to add after you get it. Certain wheel colors may work with certain colors better. Another thing to think about is how many doors do you want? Maybe a Mojito in 4 doors is too loud, but a 2 door with a black top is just right.

I go back and forth between orange and red myself, since most cars I've owned have been white/black/silver. I am leaning towards orange (not many cars look good in orange), I think it looks good in pics as a two door, with a black soft top. I go back and forth on tan or black interior also. But the 2019s may not give me a choice, or more choices.

Wellst, I don't have color remorse at this point. My JLUR isn't built yet.

But we ordered Mojito. So...??? Maybe we will regret it at some point:whatsgoingon:

It's a huge change for us as we've had:

Odyssey - silver
Lexus - white
Mercedes - black
Sequoia - white
Land Cruiser - white
QX56 - white
Grand Cherokee - white
Grand Cherokee - silver
Wrangler Sahara - silver
Wranger Rubicon - silver
Sequoia - burgundy (I was really nervous about this!)
Expedition - white

See a pattern here? Lol. :cwl:

I agonized over the color of the new JL for months. We went to the dealership to see a Sting Gray. There was a Mojito just arrived and we were like "let's do this!"

It's not our daily driver though so we got brave.

I second what someone said before. I ordered crystal granite initially. I then saw my current JLUR in billet silver and I bought it that day. If you would have asked me back in April if I would have considered billet I would have said no way, but it pops in person. The tiny metallic flecks in the billet when the sun is on it is amazing and it looks so machine-like and rugged with the black accents. At least look at billet in person.
