I did install the Sky One-Touch Hothead Headliner. which did cut down wind noise. I live in Kansas and we have a lot of wind (few trees.) After installing the headliner I have had less lift from crosswinds. I am guessing a side benefit headliner's general noise reduction through the top might...
A new Jeep owner pushes his Rubicon into the dealership and tells the mechanic that it died. After working on it for a few minutes, he has it idling smoothly. "What's the story?" he asked. "Just crap in the carburator," the Jeep mechanic replied. "How often do I have to do that?" asked the...
At this point the full XM Guardian is $300 a year after the first six months promo price of $60.00. You can downgrade after that to a lesser package.
If you just want remote services it is $240 a year after the six month $60 promo.
Dang!!! I just wish it was a little less.
If you have the cold weather group, your seat and hands are warmed up before you get in the car.
On an "ice day", I remote start the Jeep from my office window and watch the ice melt off before I jump in.
I really liked to start the Jeep from inside a store or sporting arena with the XM...
I used the remote unlock on the Guardian a four times. It saved me driving across town to unlock the car when my wife locked herself out. And I liked the rote start. I probably used it twenty times a year.
But, it is just too pricey.
The JLU pushbutton start is a major pain when I get in the wife very tiny sports car, and realize I am sitting in her Pontiac Solstice. Next -- I open the car door to be able to reach into my pants pocket for the Solstice Key.
Maybe... But this just might work.
I think I might be able to convince my wife that this is truly free, especially if I can push out the first payment for a month.
This is a scathingly brilliant marketing ploy. And even if she she figures out this is irrational reasoning and says NO to a new...
I have had the camera stay on after backing up twice. I am guessing there might me some sort of micro switch on the shifter that did not activate.
If I stopped and restsrted the car it cleared up the problem.
The Sky One-Touch Power Top is just another Wrangler option. I have had a lot of Jeeps going back to a Willy's. And even produced a video about using a soft top. The Sky One-Touch Power Top is Jeep evolution. It may be a foreign concept to some in the Jeep community. The Jeep is the most...
It all depends on the carwash type. Imagine if you could put your hand on top of the roof, how would your hand fare?
Where I am, they use the big canvas like 3" wide straps that slowly drag over the roof. I would rather have that on my hand than a high pressured jet stream or a flailing brush...
As fall and winter settle into Kansas, I use them just about everyday. Yesterday the temperature dropped to 35 degrees. I opened the Sky One-Touch Power Top and turned up the main heater, steering wheel heater, the seat warmer and the audio. I kept the windows up.
My face was cold, and I stayed...
Yes - I would buy it again. The Sky One-Touch Power Top is the most important option to have on my next Wrangler because I love driving with the top down so much.
A couple of answers. When you sit inside there is less open feeling than a soft top, yet very comparable to driving with the Freedom Hardtop Top panels removed on my old JKU.
It opens all the way to parallel with the rear seat headrests.
In the wintertime, I open the Sky One-Touch Power open...
My Sky One-Touch Power Top fits much tighter. I live in Kansas where the crosswinds blow at 40mph routinely and we do not ha very many trees or traffic. Granted, if the sun is out - my top is down.
I raise and lower my top typically ten times a day. My top is open 95% of the time from March to...
