Billet Silver non-painted hard top and fenders, I like the silver/black contrast. Same reason why I didn’t consider granite or black, not enough contrast with black hard top/soft top/fenders.

In my opinion painted tops and fenders or dark colors makes the Wrangler look like one single rectangle block, there aren’t any accents, nothing to define the lines.

I’m not daring enough for orange or green or even blue. I think I’d grow tired of them quickly and regret it. White, well white is for accords and minivans.

If billet wasn’t available I probably would have went with red.

I second what someone said before. I ordered crystal granite initially. I then saw my current JLUR in billet silver and I bought it that day. If you would have asked me back in April if I would have considered billet I would have said no way, but it pops in person. The tiny metallic flecks in the billet when the sun is on it is amazing and it looks so machine-like and rugged with the black accents. At least look at billet in person.
Lol glad I’m not the only one that happened too! I’ve had more compliments on this Jeep then any other vehicle I’ve ever driven. I’ve had several people walk over to me in parking lots asking to take a closer look. The billet is nice. Of course in reality they all look badass, so I suggest walking on to a lot and seeing which one makes you want it on the spot. Then you’ll know the color for you

Regret is not actually the word I would use for how I feel with my black jeep, but I would have rather had blue or white. However, I am impatient and this jeep fit the bill so to speak, so I took it home!

Billet is the best shade of silver ever offered.

Firecracker looks awesome in the sun, and at times has a lot of orange in it. I'm very happy with my decision.

However, if I had to do it over again today, I'd get a Sting Gray model with body color fenders. Those a SWEET looking.

My JK was white and I really thought that I wanted to get something else this time. But when I went and looked and test drove my first JL, they had a white Rubi sitting there. I knew that's what I wanted. I wont lie, I really like the Ocean Blue, but white is so much easier to keep clean. I am happy with my white! My suggestion is go look at them live!

I ordered the Granite and actually agree with most of this. The only caveat would be that I don't think pictures do the Granite justice. I have seen them in person, and have just always liked the color. As I said in another post, I was deciding between Red (with black top and fenders) or Granite with black top and colored fenders. Going with the latter of the two. But the silver and sting gray with black top and fenders look awesome too! But I do think the Granite, while subtle, offers enough variant to not look like a solid block. Like the picture below of one of the forum member's jeep.

I have a billet and it contrasts the black and red extremely well. Crystal granite kinda looks weird to me with the red accents looking forced and out of place. If I could have ordered sting grey, I would have, but the silver is not the most common color and looks good with just about anything. Punkin is very sexy in person and I would have gone with that before billet as well.

Personally I think billet is one of the worst wrangler colors. I love my white JLU but if I had to pick a different color I'd probably go with Sting Grey or Ocean Blue.

No love for Punk'n here? I love the color. I was worried I would get sick of it but I love it every time I see it.

A side note though; I bought mine before Mojito! was available. If I could trade mine straight up for one exactly like it with the M paint I would.

You didn’t mention Firecracker Red as an option under consideration, but if you are getting a Rubicon, to my eye the red of the dash and that exterior go together better than any other available interior/exterior combo. It’s almost classy...

I actually was turned off to Firecracker Red because the red dash doesn’t match the Firecracker and clashes to me. To each their own...

In case you haven't done it yet---I'd visit the Jeep dealership and just take a walk around and actually see the colors in person. The dealership close to me has all the colors so I was able to actually see them in person (minus the Mojito). It really helped me. Not wanting something "too flashy" I read as wanting something to catch the eye--just not too much. I guess you'll have to decide what is too much. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. B/c beyond the shades of grey, black, & white...every Jeep color is bright: red, blue, green, yellow, orange...

I was all set on white until I saw the Ocean Blue in person...it was beautiful. (I know...white....so boring...but...I have a beachy theme in mind for my jeep with tropical color vinyl going on which against the white it will really pop:sun:). Seeing the blue in person has me rethinking everything. :movember: The Granite in person looked really sharp too.

Good luck with your decision. You can't really go wrong any way. And worst case....you pick a flashy color and after a few years want something different you can always vinyl wrap it.

:headbang:Anyone here have color remorse? I like too many different colors I cannot decide which one I like the most. I go from Billet Silver to Ocean Blue to Mojito to Sting Gray... I know I do not want black or white (my GC is Granite, jk is white) I don’t want anything too flashy though.
Alot of these new colors are really nice and look real good on the jeep, but (nothing against anyone here), in my personal opinion, those new colors wear off. You have to ask yourself "Will I like this color in 3 or 4 years?"

I asked myself the same thing, then I was reminded of when certain cars came out like PT Cruiser and Dodge prowler. At first most (not all) people were like "hey thats kinda cool!", then the 2nd time they saw it, not so much.

my 2 cents. (actually, probably like $1 worth)
