That Midnight Forest system looks pretty nice. Something like that was mentioned in the other thread as a suggestion for adding a valve stem to my Rotopax and I could pressurize it which is basically just a home made version.
I’m just highly debating the battery to pressurize (another thing to carry/charge) vs a standard valve I can hook up compressor or bike pump to pressurize.

I’m trying to minimize equipment to bring/charge but I do have 100ah batteries and’s inverter in cubby plus a bluetti 180 (1200 wah) for projector, heated blanket/ portable power needs so it’s not a huge issue. Idk yet what to do.

I have something similar to this. It spray with a pretty good amount of pressure.

I have tried using a pump 1 gallon Home Depot sprayer and it was very weak. Unless you’re spraying a little weed killer with them they’re pretty useless. It was for sand at the beach and it took forever and was too weak to really rinse so the out rubbing it all off anyway.

I'm also trying to cut back on things I'm bringing/charging. It's why I didn't want a sleeping pad that requires power to blow up.

I liked the idea of something solar powered like this DIY tubes painted black but then you need a way to mount it with is $$$.

This topic was an offshoot of my water storage spigot question from a different thread so I thought I'd start a thread over here.

It seems water distribution seems to be an opinionated topic. What's everyone using for camp showers? I've been looking at getting just a cheap shower bag off Amazon but found some DIY options was well as some super expensive options like the Yakima RoadShower.

LOL
Typical “help” on this forum.
OP asks for good ideas for a camp shower.
Gets replies like the following.
Don’t be a baby nobody needs to take a shower. I just rub myself down with dirt and “dry off“ with native plants. I use a half a cup of water and a washcloth and then make coffee with the dirty water. I can find water anywhere in CA including the middle of the Mojave Desert. 🤓

Ha I did get a lot of helpful replies also but yeah just not taking a shower or just using wipes is not for me.

Haha I do think it’s always good to get some of those comments tho, to maybe snap you out of the “need” for a camp shower. But you’re right, it is funny

True, I struggle with need vs want as well. But I suspect the OP has enough experience wheeling and camping to be past that point.

For me it's all about being comfortable. Really all you need is some water to drink and a spot on the ground to lay down on to go camping. To me that doesn't sound like a fun time.

I'm really more of a hiker than a camper. I could hike all day as long as I get to come home and take a hot shower and sleep in a real bed.

Haha I forgot to bring it, just like I forgot to bring a heated blanket🤦‍♂️
These handheld sprayers just charge via USB cord of some sort. Charge during the drive.

My Sea to Summit just arrived and I gave it a test. This thing is awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. All it needs is some hot water and gravity.

The only problem is what to do if there are no trees around. I guess worse case scenario I can us a carabiner to hook it over the rain gutter on the hard top of the Jeep.
