Hey Everyone,
Check engine light recently came on in the JL. 3.6L. Last week I read the codes, came up as P000B Bank 1 Cam 2 position slow response and P0013 Bank 1 Cam 2 actuator circuit open.
Check engine turned off for a week, came back yesterday. This time it's P000B again.
Since one of the codes points directly to the actuator and it's a cheap part, I figure I'd start there. My assumption is that the Cam 2 is the Intake cam for bank 1 (passenger side), and the cams are numbered 1,2,3,4 from passenger side to driver side. Anyone know if this is correct?
Context:
60K miles, out of warranty, and the motor has always run like a sewing machine, including now. I've never heard a tick from it.
