I noticed the other day while inspecting my suspension before a trail ride that I only have 2” of spacing between my front bump stop and spacer pucks. My rear has 2.5”. I haven’t noticed any hard hits during daily drives and while on the trail I only notice it when coming off a steep drop too fast. Because of this, I’m not too concerned about the spacing, but want to make sure I’m maximizing my wheel travel for when I hit some tougher obstacles.
I have a 2022 JLUW with the MetalCloak 2.5” True Dual Rate lift and 315/70r17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I’ve included some pics of the bump stops as well as my wheel clearance on a flat surface and a picture of some decent flex on the trail yesterday.
