Bulletpoint mount bad quality

Contact them… give them a chance to make it right. I dealt with customer service (in the Toledo area) and they were great!

I have a dual BP mount for 1.5 years in my TRX. Offroad and on road, works like a charm. Very solid mount. I bought another for my 392. Call them and give them a chance to make it right.

No different. There is a screw behind the logo rubber pad that weakens, loosens and strips.

I don’t have the time to contact a manufacturer and wait on a replacement. It’s in the trash. I’m shopping for a better solution that hopefully is made in this country!

Let us know what Bulletproof/Bulletpoint does when you contact them. I have them in two vehicles and they have performed well so far. My bet is they make it right for you.

Haha…I’ve had both. I started with Bulletpoint and switched to 67d within a month. It worked great until I decided to switch to wireless CarPlay and rigged up MagSafe charging as well. Still using 67d mounting arms, but I have a Spigen MagSafe adapter as my MagSafe mount.

I don’t have pics of the new mount, only the older RAM mount in the below pic, but it’s the same concept. I switched to the Spigen for more surface area when the phone is attached.

Sometimes bad ones get through in any manufacturing process. That’s what we see in this forum a lot but not even giving a company a chance. They have a limited lifetime warranty. About the only thing they don’t cover is the rubber grips. They even warranty plastic and abs parts for 3 years. Maybe I’m just cheap but if they have a warranty, I am going after them to enforce it. They don’t follow through, then bash them on here.
