I want to mount my 11' iPad Pro with GaiaGPS somewhere on the dash in the 24' Willys. There are now two factory mounting ports on top of the dash for which both vendors make ball mounts to fit. What I am not clear is that there are arms of different length, and I am not sure which one to pick. I will also want to mount the ham radio front plate (Icom IC-2730) somewhere, so the area gets crowded quickly. Has anyone tried to solve this yet? Thanks!

I am curious to see the responses, I put the bulletpoint iPad mount in my cart today but haven’t ordered it yet. I have a ‘24 with the bullet point mount, I also have one in my Ram so I have a few arms 2x 7 & 4cm and the stubby one. I think I’m going to get the ball on ball link and play around with 2 arm combinations.
I agree on the clutter because I have both the diver and passenger sides. I also have the ball mount that goes in the roof clamp, not sure how if I will use it but my thought was to declutter the dash and mount something up there, probably the handheld GMRS Radio but idk

2020 Willys, I have 67 Designs, phone goes on the right and FTM-400 on the left. Not sure about arm length for Ipad. The mount hardware for the FTM-400 is here: https://www.67d.com/products/5mm-of...cZz-hMKVbnsRYOyOueN0Q-jTs5L_KAPNBnRbDlFnzNZc2 not sure how the Icom IC-2730 mount is, but on the FTM-400 it is a single threaded screw to mount the head.

67 Designs has a mount version available for the 4xe, not sure what you have. 67D is more expensive, but Made in USA.

Everyone sleeps on the RAM® Tough-Track™ for '18-23 Jeep JL/JLU/Gladiator. I use the tough track for my mounting base, and then I have complete freedom to use any mounting accessories from there. There is plenty of room under the tough track for me to install a USB power outlet under it in the near future, and has openings to allow USB cables to run from that outlet to the arms.

Tablet is a Samsung S7+. It measures at 11" x 7 1/4". Rides with no vibrations when the tablet is mounted.

Phone is on a short Ram arm and a TackForm phone mount.
Tablet is on a Bulletpoint Long+ arm and Bulletpoint tablet mount.
Center ball (not currently in use) is for my GoPro when I use it.
