Hi - 21 JLU sport unlimited- with 14k on it. Bought it used from a Ford dealership w/ 4k on it - ( person turned it in, couldn’t afford lease ) One of the tires has a slow leak - weekly the low tire pressure light comes on.. Is something like that covered by the warranty ? Any suggestions? - love the Jeep just this one glitch,

If they are the original tires and wheels and can prove that it is an mfg defect and not something the driver casued (a damaged wheel or tire from hitting a pothole, etc.), you could be covered.

It's probably a road hazard, like a nail in the tread.

Just go by a tire shop and have them check it out and plug it. Probably $25 at most places.

Doubtful there's any warranty coverage at this point. Many tire shops will fix a puncture for free in the hopes you'll come back when you need new tires. If it's a typical nail or something that should be easily repairable.

Discount Tire and Big O have both fixed nail holes for me in the past at no charge, even though they were factory tires not purchase there

Discount Tire... Can't say enough good things about them. They will fix any tire that is fixable for free. I always give them first crack at tires. They have not disappointed yet.

As mentioned go by a Discount Tire/America's Tire store for a free tire inspection. You don't want to be driving on a low tire as it will heat up and can cause a blow out.

I have KO2s on my '22 Rubicon, got a flat while offroad and used plug kit to repair. Went directly to tire shop for repair. Few days later tire was flat again. Took in yesterday and they repaired it. I'm here again today & now guy is saying the plug ruined the tire. I have to swap with spare. With other cars I've had same tire plugged few times & never had issues.

Is this real or did they do poor job first time?

Similar issue I had with a BFG AT, initially plug had a slow leak ended up making the hole bigger with a drill and using 2 plugs on the 2nd go arounb - never leaked after that. Never heard of a plug job ruining a tire before your post, but I guess anything is possible.

I'll have to try Discount Tire next time I need a plug all the tire stores I have tried in the past always tell me the puncture is too close to the sidewall and I need a new tire....

I'm gonna try les Schwab or discount tire and ask them to repair it. I'll ask if they can double plug it.

Why not just buy a new tire? And in the future, if you have a Discount Tire near you, take your new car over & purchase replacement certificates for the tires. You can do this on any new car.

Tire has 2,400 miles on it. But that also makes sense
